| CRYSTAL COOPER was raised
in a household bubbling with musical influence and talent. Whether
waking up to the sounds of her father’s saxophone or relaxing
to an old Ella Fitzgerald record, she was never far from music’s
warm embrace. Crystal began singing in church at a very early
age and by the end of high school had mastered the guitar and
written several original songs. Crystal Cooper’s music draws
influence from a very broad spectrum: Everything from jazz icon
Billie Holiday to R&B/Soul powerhouse Natalie Cole. She’s
received praise for her unfaltering musical ambition and several
comparisons to contemporary artists like Corinne Bailey Rae and
CeCe Winans. Her positive lyrics and upbeat live show will inspire
listeners and motivate their spirits. Since recently graduating
from college and wrapping up work on her self-titled debut album,
Crystal Cooper looks poised to take her music to the next level.
